Amanda and I will be vending at ECCC again this year. If you’re attending, come find us at Booth Z5 (listing on ECCC). We’ll have prints and illustrations from my store, as well as info on our newest work on Wayfarers comic.
Or just look for our banners, featuring Bran and Eleanor (our newest introduction).
doodled a little version of Archimedes for wayfarers – this lil guy will be on our Moo minicards this year at Emerald City Comicon! More on that in my next post…
I’m currently working on getting a mix of both new pieces and digital renderings of some fan favorites done. Below you can see a little bit of my process, working on anatomy, structure, and first linework. I’ll be opening a Society6 shop soon with these designs made available for reprinting on lots of different items – so stay tuned for that!
Raccoon thief: WIP
Jackalope king digital version: WIP
Since updating my website, I cleaned house of many old and outdated projects. I thought it would be nice to revisit some of the pieces that are favorites. Here is Huginn and Muninn. The original piece was ink on board, 4″ x 16″ each. The original found its home very quickly, but i have prints of these two available at my etsy store. I’m also planning on re-drawing these two at a much larger scale digitally so they can be printed on a variety of items, so stay tuned for that!
A wedding certificate (final printed at 18×24″) inspired by the traditional ketubah and the quaker marriage certificate. The trees contain crows and chickadees, the couple’s favorite birds. At the base of the ash trees are the couple’s dog (Piros), and their cat (Sophie). I loved creating this storybook-like piece.
Digital illustration using Kyle T Webster’s ink and watercolor brushes. Roughly 30 hours from approved sketch to completion.
